My painting “EVERYWHERE TO NOWHERE” is a direct emotional response to a period of forced stillness and global restriction. Created during the travel limitations of the COVID-19 pandemic, this work captures a sense of profound longing for movement and the world beyond my immediate space.

The densely packed, blue, rounded shapes are an abstract representation of the cobblestone streets I deeply missed from our trips to Europe. These streets—historically pathways connecting continents, cultures, and travelers—became a powerful symbol of the freedom to wander that was suddenly lost.

I chose a dominant palette of deep, shifting blues to convey isolation and distance and the weight of my memories.
